Brooklyn Bedding shows 4.7 out of 5 from 11,734 reviews on its best selling Signature Hybrid. We read 537 Reddit posts and comments across 199 r/Mattress threads and kept the 154 written by owners.
Of the 125 who come down clearly, 83 would buy again and 42 would not.
That is 66 percent by post. But 125 posts come from only 92 people, and some of them wrote several times, so we also counted one voice per person: 64 percent. The lower figure is the one to hold. Depending on how strictly you treat the two most prolific accounts, the honest range is 62 to 66, and this page will not pretend to more precision than that.
We have not tested this mattress, we have not owned one, and nobody here has slept on one. We are analysts reading what owners wrote, which is why every number below arrives with its denominator.

How we read it
Every item was sorted by what the writer is to this mattress: somebody who owns one, somebody whose order is on the way, a shopper weighing it up, or a person repeating what they had heard. Only the first group is counted anywhere on this page.
Five owner labels came out by hand. Three were people whose Brooklyn Bedding purchase was a topper sitting on another brand’s mattress, one was a review site’s test unit, and one was a shopper who sleeps on a different brand entirely and only assumed Brooklyn Bedding had made it. A thirteen post thread about microcoil toppers came out whole, for the same reason: a topper is not this bed.
Mention frequency in a self selected sample. Not a failure rate, and not a share of buyers. People with a problem write more often than people without one.
The exit is the part owners complain about most
Ten themes came out of the corpus. Nine of them are mixed. One is not.
On returns, exchanges and warranty, 5 owners are positive and 15 are negative. That is the most one sided reading on the page, and it is the theme where the brand’s own published policy explains the sentiment without anyone having to speculate.
The trial is 120 nights, which is generous. What is easy to miss is that 30 of those nights are compulsory before a return or exchange can even be started. One owner who had already decided was counting the days:

Returning then costs $99, and the trial can be used only once: the policy states the second occasion is not eligible for a return. Adjustable bases cannot be returned at all.
Past the trial, the route is the warranty, which is limited lifetime and conditional on sleeping the mattress on a base the brand considers compliant. It turns on a visible impression, and that is exactly where one long term owner got stuck:

None of this is hidden and none of it is unusual for the category. It is simply worth knowing before the box arrives, because the decision to keep or send back has a date and a price attached to it.

The people the Titan is sold to are the ones who report worst
This is the finding we did not expect, and it is the most useful thing on the page.
Brooklyn Bedding sells the Titan range specifically to heavier sleepers. Among owners who state a weight and take a side:
- 250 lb and over: 4 positive out of 11.
- Under 250 lb: 9 positive out of 15.
Those are small numbers and we are giving them as counts rather than a rate for that reason. But they point the same way as something on the brand’s own website: of the thirteen beds we could read a rating for, the Titan Plus Elite carries the lowest, 4.2 out of 5 across 414 reviews. It is also the most expensive bed in that range.
The heavy sleeper accounts do not agree with each other, which is worth saying plainly. Some are unreserved:

Others describe the bed holding up better than what it replaced and still going soft in the centre within the first year:

The pattern in the negative accounts is not that the bed feels wrong on night one. It is support giving way in the middle, early. Read the case series below and notice how many of the positive heavy sleeper reports come from people who say themselves they are only weeks or months in.

Firm is the thing this catalogue actually does
Set against all that, there is something this brand is genuinely good at, and the corpus is fairly clear about it.
Among owners who state how they sleep, stomach sleepers are 4 positive out of 5, while side sleepers are 5 out of 13. The catalogue is built around firm: the Plank is a two sided firm and extra firm bed, and on the brand’s own pages the Plank Firm shows 4.7 out of 5 across 4,106 reviews, the joint highest rating it publishes.
Owners looking for genuinely firm rather than marketed as firm are the ones who sound satisfied years later:

The practical read is straightforward. If you want a hard bed and you have been disappointed by beds sold as firm that were not, this brand comes up repeatedly and positively in that conversation. If you are a side sleeper hoping to be cradled, the corpus is much less encouraging, and the softer end of the range is where the disappointed accounts cluster.

Holding up is a coin flip, and the dip comes early
Forty owners talk about how the bed held up. They split 19 positive and 19 negative, which is as close to an even divide as this corpus produces.
Twenty two owners out of 154 describe sagging, a dip, or lumps. Twelve of those twenty two still recommend the mattress anyway. That is a frequency of mention in a self selected sample and not a failure rate, and we are not going to convert it into one.
What is more interesting is when the complaints land. By stated tenure, owners in their first year run 26 positive to 18 negative, while owners at three years and beyond run 15 to 6. The satisfied long timers are real:

The likeliest explanation is not that the beds improve with age. It is that the people who were going to be unhappy found out early, inside or just past the trial window, and left. That reading makes the trial arithmetic in the first section matter more, not less.
Where it goes wrong, it goes wrong in the middle of the bed:

The range you pick does not predict the outcome
We expected to find one range dragging the others down. We did not.
Counting only owners who name a single range, so that nobody is double counted:
- Plank: 9 positive, 4 negative, from 12 different people.
- Aurora: 9 positive, 5 negative, from 13 people.
- Titan: 11 positive, 6 negative, from 20 people.
- Signature: 5 positive, 1 negative, from 5 people.
Given those sample sizes, none of those gaps means anything. Which range you buy is not what separates the happy owners from the unhappy ones on this brand. Weight and sleeping position are, and both of those are about you rather than about the model number.
That is an unusual result for this site. On several brands we have read, the model choice is the whole story. Here it is close to noise, and a buyer’s attention is better spent on firmness than on working out which tier to stretch to.

What this corpus cannot tell you
An honest page says where it runs out, so here is the list.
- No score for Sedona, Spartan, CopperFlex, EcoSleep or ThermoBalance. Each has between one and six owners in the corpus. The ThermoBalance beds look excellent in the raw data, but that reading comes from three people, one of whom wrote most of it, so we are not publishing a number for it.
- Nothing on back sleepers. Two owners state that they sleep on their back. That is not a group, it is two people.
- Bloom and EcoSleep no longer exist. Both product pages now redirect to the general mattress collection. The owners of those beds in our corpus are describing something you cannot buy.
- The newest beds are the least documented, on both sides. The brand itself shows 15 and 19 reviews on the ThermoBalance pages, against 11,734 on the Signature. Nobody has enough data on the recent range yet, us included.
- No usable read on price paid. A sitewide discount appears to run more or less continuously, so the list price is not really a price.
- No failure rate, anywhere on this page. Twenty two owners out of 154 mentioning sagging tells you what people volunteer, not how often mattresses fail.
The corpus is at least current: 74 of the 154 owners posted in 2025 or 2026.
The bottom line
Brooklyn Bedding lands at 64 percent of owners saying they would buy again, which puts it in the middle of the brands we have read rather than at either end. The brand shows 4.4 to 4.7 across its range. Those are two different measurements of two different populations, and we are not claiming one of them is a lie.
Buy it if you want a genuinely firm bed, you sleep on your front or your back, and the price after discount is what you wanted to spend. That is the group this corpus is most positive about, and the Plank is the bed it keeps naming.
Think harder if you are a side sleeper who needs the bed to give at the shoulder, or if you and your partner are both well over 250 lb. The Titan range is sold to you specifically, and it is the part of this corpus with the least happy reading and the brand’s own lowest published rating.
Whichever way you go, put a reminder in your phone for night 30. That is the first day the return window opens, and the corpus is full of people who worked out how they felt long before then.
